DUTIES:
• Responsible for providing weekly clinical intervention to 21 families. • Responsible for conducting family assessments. • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of the new staff. • Develop therapeutic service plans for the duration of the intervention. • Attend clinical case reviews and treatment planning team meetings. • Maintain good communication with service providers and family members. • Follow protocols as outlined by the project proposal and/or contract. • Maintain client records in compliance with program and ACVB regulations. • Coordinate all intakes and flow of cases into programs. • Provide family assessment reports, monthly progress reports and other required documentation as determined by contract. • Provide weekly supervision to the case managers. • Participate in Association related activities after hours or during weekends which are beneficial to the Association and its mission and goals. • Work 1-2 weekends per month with rotating 24 hour emergency phone. Follow up with any emergency calls during the week while holding the emergency phone. • Assist DSS in home visits or supervised visitation when language is a barrier. • Responsible for assisting the Executive Director in the management of the organization, especially in his or her absence. • Perform other works or related activities that are not listed but are determined to be appropriate and beneficial to the Associacao Caboverdiana de Brockton, Inc. by the Executive Director or the Board of Directors.
• Experience working with Department of Social Service families. • Familiarity with community resources. • Must have reliable transportation. • Demonstrated ability to work with culturally and linguistic diverse population. • Fluency in Cape Verdean Creole and English.
